My MARC VI features underwater marine lighting by Shadow-Caster.  I’ve four of their model SCM-10v-BB20 in “Bimini Blue”, mounted on the transom of my Mako 284, and, naturally, beneath the water line.  Why Shadow-Caster?  Aesthetically, they actually add to the boat’s overall appearance, as their chrome frames lend a factory appearance, rather than an “add on” look.  They are LED lights that rely on an internal digital switching power supply, and operate at 94% efficiency while drawing a mere 3.5 amps at 12 volts. They broadcast a powerful beam of light, which enhances our ability to raise bait and game fish in low-light conditions, and at night. In short, they are the ideal lights for center console boats, like the MARC VI.
